Puerto Rico is an archipelago in the Caribbean Sea and the smallest of the Greater Antilles. World-renowned for its vibrant culture, stunning coastline and colourful tapestry of indigenous, Spanish, and African traditions, Boricua is the name that honours Puerto Rican Island history and heritage – a way of life and a celebration of everything that is uniquely Puerto Rican.

Travellers may fly with JetBlue from any of the UK or Irish hubs via New York JFK or Boston. Puerto Rico is then under four hours away.

15 minutes from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU), the capital San Juan is the Island’s cultural centre offering a beautiful blend of Old World with cobblestone streets and historic architecture, and modern city life with contemporary dining, craft cocktails, and vibrant nightlife.

Further afield, Puerto Rico offers visitors incredible geographic diversity from glistening white-sand beaches to lush rainforests and stunning central mountain ranges. The Island is small enough to drive around in a few hours, but each of Puerto Rico’s seven regions has a unique identity that manifests in the delicious cuisine, diverse cultural activities, outdoor and adventure tours, colourful festivals, and of course, the charismatic, welcoming locals.
